Rock My World Wednesday – Thanksgiving Edition

Welcome to another edition of Rock My World Wednesday! Since it’s a holiday week, I’m going to go the traditional route and theme this week’s edition for Thanksgiving. Yeah, I’m going to be that guy.

1. It’s the week of Thanksgiving. Seriously, a holiday dedicated to eating ridiculous amounts of food? Now that’s awesome. Oh yeah, I’m thankful, too, but I’ll get to that in a second.

2. ThanksKilling. Yes, two weeks in a row I’m going to talk about this movie. It’s still awesome. If you haven’t seen it, and are even remotely into to finely awful film, then check it out.

3. Supportive family and friends. On a more serious note, I’m very blessed to have some of the best family and friends that a guy could have. I’m not the best with showing my appreciation to them on a regular basis, but I definitely do recognize all that they do for me and how much harder life would be without them. Thanks, y’all.

4. Great clients. Just as I have a great group of friends and family, I have just about the best client roster you could ask for. Every client I have is a joy to train, busts their ass, and puts up with my humor. You couldn’t ask for a better group, and they’re the reason that I jump out of bed every morning loving my job and what I do. Go ahead and eat tomorrow, guys. You’ve earned it. Friday, on the other hand, is a day of reckoning.

5. Wild Turkey. Thanksgiving and Wild Turkey. Duh. Man up and face the Turkey.

This one's gonna hurt, dude.

6. The NFL Games on Thanksgiving, and John Madden. Yeah, so it’s Dallas and the Lions every year, so normally I don’t care unless they’re playing one of my teams. That being said, it’s still football on a holiday which is pretty awesome. Big hits, great football, special features, and it spawned John Madden and his Turducken. That’s right, a duck… in a chicken… in a TURKEY!

John Madden... Nobody knows what the hell he's saying, but that's quite a bird!

7. This picture. Not because it’s especially attractive, but the physics are mind-boggling.

See you on the flipside!
