Overcoming Fear and Barriers to Success – Make It Happen Monday

2

Today I want to talk about the biggest reason why most men aren’t successful. It has nothing to do with their brain power. What station they were born into in life doesn’t even compare. The money in their pocket isn’t even a factor compared to this. Neither is their looks, their way with words, or their friendships.

Nope. While all of those things can have a big or small effect on your success, they aren’t the number one factor.

Number one is FEAR, or more specifically, how you control it.

Welcome to Make It Happen Monday

Step 1: Write down what you want to achieve, your barriers to success, and what you’re afraid of that keeps you from overcoming those barriers.

Step 2: Write down the WORST possible outcome of you making a change. I mean if everything that could go wrong goes wrong. We all know that the worst (or best)-case scenario pretty much never happens.

Step 3: Figure out how you’d survive that worst-case scenario. Would it suck? Sure. Probably you’d make it through just fine in the long run, though.

Step 4: Now that you’ve looked at the worst thing that could happen, and you know that chances are very good that it won’t go down like that, it’s now time to take control of your fear and make it happen.

Isaac,

GREAT POST!

FEAR is our worst enemy!

You are 110% correct!

BUT facing our fears and fighting back to make things happen is just apart of the trip you have to take to become successful.

I have fear everyday but the more I overcome it with ACTION the less it holds me back!

It’s good to get scared a little now and then – it keep us moving forward.

If your not getting scared, you’re not taking chances…

Trav,

Right on, man. I agree with you on the point of that it’s good to be a little scared. That shows that you’re not sitting comfortable and that you’re taking some chances.

Facing that fear and moving ahead with those butterflies in your stomach is awesome! Letting that fear cripple you and keep you down is not!

“If it were easy, everyone would do it.”

Isaac
